What is Karmouz War about? Toggle content

In the midst of World War II, a group of British soldiers attack and attempt to rape a young woman in Alexandria, Egypt. Local police officer General Yousef el-Masri (Amir Karara) intervenes and arrests one of the soldiers, but the British military demands his release, claiming he is a relative of the governor. When el-Masri refuses, the British military launches a full-scale assault on the police station, and the officers must fight to defend their prison and their people. With the help of a group of unlikely allies, including a tough-as-nails prisoner (Scott Adkins), el-Masri and his team must hold their ground against overwhelming odds in a battle for justice and independence.
