When a lifeguard at Müggel Lake loses his hand to a shark attack, the community is thrown into chaos. The local government scrambles to contain the situation, closing the lake and calling in a team of experts to find a solution. Meanwhile, a notorious shark hunter returns to his hometown from years of exile, determined to catch the predator and restore order to the lake. But as tensions rise and the shark remains at large, the townsfolk take matters into their own hands, concocting a plan to lure the shark out with a lavish supply of beer. Will their unorthodox approach work, or will the shark continue to wreak havoc on their beloved lake?
