Cruelty

In the idyllic city of Reykjavik, two young sisters vanish from a playground, leaving their families and community in shock. The police are baffled by the brutal murders, but two tenacious detectives, Edda and Jóhannes, are determined to solve the case by any means necessary, even as the investigation leads them down a dark and twisted path. As they uncover the sinister truth, the detectives must confront their own demons and race against time to bring justice to the girls' family. Will they be able to solve the puzzle before more innocent lives are taken?
