"Grand Theft Parsons" is a comedy-drama film inspired by the true story of music legend Gram Parsons' fatal overdose and the outlandish adventures that followed. When Parsons' dies, his friend and former business partner, Phil Kaufman, sets out to fulfill a promise he made to Parsons: to liberate his soul by burning his body in the California desert.
