Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism follows Lara, a woman plagued by hallucinations and terrifying visions, as she becomes the target of a ruthless exorcist who will stop at nothing to save her soul. Convinced that Lara is possessed by a malevolent spirit, her husband pushes her to seek treatment from a zealous congregation, but their extreme methods only serve to push Lara further towards the brink of madness. As the exorcist's grip on her tightens, Lara must confront her own faith and determine whether she can trust the man who claims to be her savior or if she will be consumed by the darkness that surrounds her. Based on real events in 1990s Australia, this horror drama explores themes of faith, extremism, and the blurred lines between science and religion.
