Ghoomketu

Ghoomketu is a comedy film about an aspiring writer from a small village in Uttar Pradesh who runs away to Mumbai to pursue his dreams, but ends up getting married to a woman he doesn't love. When his family reports him missing, a corrupt police officer named Badlani is assigned to find him within 30 days or face punishment. Ghoomketu befriends Badlani's family and faces numerous rejections in his quest to become a writer. In a twist of events, Badlani eventually realizes that Ghoomketu is the man he's been searching for all along, but by then, Ghoomketu has already returned home and discovered that his wife has lost weight and become beautiful. The movie ends with Ghoomketu's scripts being used in a film starring Amitabh Bachchan, and Ghoomketu and his wife watching the film at a local theater.
