Gates of Paradise

Gates of Paradise tells the story of Annie, a young girl who finds herself orphaned and crippled. She is taken in by Tony Tatterton and brought to Farthinggale Manor, where she yearns for her lost family, especially her half-brother Luke. Without Luke's love, Annie is lost in despair and forced into submission by the strict nurse Broadfield. When Annie discovers a hidden cottage in the woods, she uncovers a deepening mystery about her past. Despite her hopes to see Luke again, a sinister force known as the Casteel spell threatens to keep her in the shadows forever.
