Gaslight

Gaslight is a 1944 psychological thriller film directed by George Cukor and starring Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer. The film follows Paula Alquist, a young woman who marries her accompanist Gregory Anton after a two-week whirlwind romance. They move into her late aunt's London townhouse, where Paula starts to experience strange occurrences that make her question her own sanity. Gaslight was a critical and commercial success upon its release, and has since become a classic of the thriller genre. It won two Academy Awards for Best Actress (Ingrid Bergman) and Best Supporting Actor (Charles Boyer), and was also nominated for Best Picture and Best Director.
