Friday the 13th Part 2: The Return of Jason Voorhees The movie takes place two months after the events of the first film, where sole survivor Alice Hardy is recovering from her traumatic experience at Camp Crystal Lake when she finds the severed head of Pamela Voorhees in her refrigerator followed by being murdered with an ice pick to her temple by an unknown intruder. Five years later, Paul Holt opens a school for camp counselors near Crystal Lake, where a group of young counselors-in-training arrive for their summer session, unaware of the legend of Jason Voorhees, The boy who drowned at Camp Crystal Lake in 1957, sending his vengeful mother on two killing sprees in 1958 before she was eventually killed. Jason, who witnessed his mother's death, has been living in the woods, and has now returned to Crystal Lake to continue the killing spree that his mother started. The young counselors start to get killed one by one. Jason uses various methods to kill his victims such as using an ice pick, a hammer or simply drowning them. It isn't until the end when Ginny, one of the camp counselors, discovers that Jason is not just a legend but a terrifying reality.
