Nicky Spurgeon, a seasoned con artist, meets Jess Barrett, a novice grifter who tries to seduce and con him. Impressed by her potential, Nicky takes Jess under his wing and teaches her the tricks of the trade. As they work together, they develop a romantic relationship, which goes against Nicky's rule of never getting emotionally involved with colleagues. During a high-stakes betting game at a Super Bowl event, Nicky loses all of the crew's earnings to gambler Liyuan Tse. To recoup their losses, Nicky asks Tse to pick any player on or off the field and has Jess guess the number picked. Unbeknownst to Tse, Jess has been trained by Nicky and successfully guesses the number, winning them millions. However, their victory is short-lived as Tse realizes he has been scammed. In a tense showdown, Nicky and Jess must use all their skills to outsmart Tse and escape with their lives. Will they succeed in pulling off the ultimate heist or will they get caught in their own web of deception?
