David Freeman, a 12-year-old boy, embarks on an extraordinary adventure aboard a futuristic spacecraft after a mysterious disappearance. With his newfound navigational powers, he travels the galaxy with a wisecracking robot commander, Max, and a group of bizarre extraterrestrial creatures.
