Burning Hearts follows the life of Henriette, a 30-year-old nurse who's struggling to find meaning in her everyday routine. Amidst her mundane existence, she finds solace in an affair with a charming but violent doctor named Løwe. As their relationship deepens Henriette begins to confront the harsh realities of her life, including her unfulfilling job and her reliance on her boyfriend They have formed an unlikely bond, but it becomes clear that their relationship is doomed from the start. Despite the challenges she faces Henriette learns how to embrace change and find a new sense of purpose. Will she find happiness in the arms of Løwe or will she discover new meaning independently?
