Fault Condition

"Fault Condition" follows the story of Melania, a 15-year-old high school student who becomes pregnant with her classmate Emi's child. The situation is complicated by the fact that Emi's mother is the director of their school, and Melania's mother is the school secretary. When Melania's pregnancy is discovered, her mother is forced to tell Emi's mother, who demands that the pregnancy be kept a secret from everyone, including Emi. The two teenagers are separated, and their mothers make plans to give the baby up for adoption to a family abroad, who are unable to legally adopt a child from Romania. The film explores themes of secrecy, family, and the complexities of adolescent love.
