In 1956 Algeria, Fernand and Helene are deeply in love, but their relationship is put to the test when Fernand, an activist fighting for independence, is arrested and sentenced to death for planting a bomb that didn't harm anyone. Helene refuses to give up on Fernand and embarks on a dangerous journey to fight for his freedom and their future together, as they become embroiled in a struggle against the oppressive colonial regime. Based on a true story, this powerful drama explores the sacrifices made for love and justice in the face of overwhelming adversity.
