Faces of Death

Faces of Death is a documentary-style film that explores the various ways in which people die, from natural causes to violent acts. The film is narrated by pathologist Francis B. Gröss, who has collected footage of different deaths throughout his career, including animal deaths, assassinations, and accidents. Gröss also visits the Los Angeles County coroner's office, where he witnesses the embalming process and interviews Dr. Thomas Noguchi about his thoughts on death. The film also examines the role of supernatural forces in death, following architect Joseph Binder, who believes his deceased family members are still present in his home. The film raises questions about the nature of death and whether it is the end or the beginning of something else.
