Unfolding in a fractured, time-shuffling structure, EYE OF GOD traces the fates of two seemingly disconnected individuals—one a lonely waitress (an extraordinary Martha Plimpton) who enters into a relationship with a violent ex-convict, the other a teenage boy (Nick Stahl) whom the police discover late one night, traumatized and bloody—whose lives converge in shocking tragedy.
