Ever After: A Cinderella Story

Ever After: A Cinderella Story is a 1998 American romantic comedy film directed by Andy Tennant and written by Susannah Grant, Andy Tennant, and Rick Parks. The movie is a modern retelling of the classic fairy tale, Cinderella. The story follows Danielle (Drew Barrymore), a beautiful and kind-hearted young woman who is mistreated by her stepmother, Rodmilla (Anjelica Huston), and stepsisters, Marguerite (Megan Dodds) and Jacqueline (Jennifer Aniston). Despite their cruelty, Danielle remains optimistic and determined to follow her dreams. One day, while out on a walk, Danielle meets Prince Henry (Dougray Scott), the future king of France. They fall in love at first sight, but their happiness is threatened when Rodmilla schemes to marry off Marguerite to the prince instead. With the help of her loyal friend Leonardo da Vinci (Patrick Godfrey), Danielle must find a way to outsmart her stepmother and win Prince Henry's heart.
