In the bleak winter of 1944, a group of young German women are torn from their homes and sent to a Soviet labor camp. Amidst the harsh conditions, a young mother named Irén finds solace in the unexpected friendship of a fellow prisoner, Rajmund. As they work together to survive the brutal camp, their bond grows stronger and they discover an unlikely love. But as they cling to hope for a chance at freedom, the weight of history and fate threaten to tear them apart. Will their love be strong enough to overcome the oppressive forces that brought them together?
