Estrella del Sur

"Estrella del Sur" ("South Star") is a powerful drama that follows the lives of four teenagers growing up in a violent and underserved community in Bogotá. Despite their challenging environment, they hold onto their dreams, including their desire to see the sea. A new literature teacher arrives at their school, just as a menacing social cleansing organization, known as the Black Hand, begins to threaten their neighborhood. As the teens navigate their complex reality, they must confront their own fears and struggles in order to find hope for a better future.
