In the sweltering summer of 1985, two high-profile judges and their families are sent to an isolated island in Sardinia for their own protection. With no contact with the outside world, they must rely on each other for support and comfort as they wait for the danger to pass. As the days go by, hidden tensions and secrets are revealed, and an unexpected bond forms between the two families.
