Duma

Duma is a heartwarming adventure film that follows the journey of a young boy named Xan (Alexander Michaeletos) and his best friend, a cheetah named Duma. Set in the beautiful landscapes of South Africa, the story begins with Xan and his father Peter (Campbell Scott) finding a cheetah cub on the side of the road after its mother was killed by lions. Along the way, he encounters dangerous obstacles such as hungry lions, crocodiles, raging rivers, and a mysterious drifter (Eamonn Walker) who may have ulterior motives for wanting to capture Duma. Despite the risks involved, Xan remains determined to ensure Duma's safe return to his natural home. Throughout the journey, Xan learns valuable lessons about growing up, letting go, and the true meaning of friendship.
