Berlin real estate developer Karl's seemingly ordinary day takes a fatal turn when he receives an anonymous call while driving his children to school. The caller claims there's a bomb under the car seats and demands a hefty sum of money, threatening to blow up the car and kill everyone inside if Karl doesn't comply. With no choice but to play along, Karl embarks on a heart-racing, against-the-clock adventure to gather the ransom before it's too late. Will he be able to save his family and himself, or will the clock run out?
