Django Unchained

In the pre-Civil War South, a freed slave named Django (Jamie Foxx) and a German bounty hunter, Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz), team up to track down and capture wanted criminals. Schultz promises to free Django once they've captured the Brittle brothers, their main targets. The two men form an uneasy alliance as they navigate through dangerous territories and encounter various characters, including plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his loyal servant Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson). As they search for Django's wife Broomhilda, their mission becomes increasingly complicated by their growing feelings of solidarity and the escalating danger that surrounds them. With its stylized violence, witty dialogue, and powerful performances, Django Unchained is a thrilling revisionist Western that challenges viewers to confront the dark legacy of slavery in America.
