In the vast Brazilian desert, a group of traveling artists stumbles upon an abandoned village, seemingly untouched by time. Drawn in by the promise of a fresh start, they decide to settle down and build a new community among the crumbling buildings. But as they try to create a new society, they soon discover the darker side of civilization and must confront the harsh realities of human nature.
