In the lawless deserts of Niger, two French activists are kidnapped by Tuareg rebels while investigating human rights abuses at a French-run uranium mine. Hugo, a cunning French diplomat, is sent to negotiate their release, but his motives are not what they seem. As tensions escalate and the stakes become higher, it's unclear who will come out on top in this dangerous game of cat and mouse.
