In the snowy forests of Berlin, a young boy's body is discovered, four years after he went missing. An unlikely duo of police officers, a seasoned detective and a young, ambitious woman, team up to solve the case. As they dig deeper, they uncover a web of secrets and lies within a wealthy family, leading them to question everyone's innocence, including the boy's own father. The investigation takes a surprising turn when the officers realize that the boy had been mistreated before his death, and that no one seems to have known anything about it. As they get closer to the truth, they must confront their own personal demons and the darkness that lies within the human heart. Will they be able to solve the mystery and bring justice to the boy's family, or will the truth remain buried forever?
