Last Action Hero stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as Detective Jack Slater, a fearless and indestructible LAPD officer who is the protagonist of a series of action films. When a young fan named Danny Madigan (Austin O'Brien) is given a magical ticket that allows him to enter the world of Slater's films, he becomes embroiled in a dangerous adventure alongside his hero. However, things take a turn for the worse when Mr. Benedict (Charles Dance), a villain from one of Slater's films, uses the ticket to escape into the real world and wreak havoc.
