Deception

In 1987, famous American writer Philip lives in exile in London, where he has a secret refuge that he shares with his English mistress. They spend their days together, making love, arguing, and talking about their lives, including their past experiences with women, sex, anti-Semitism, literature, and the importance of staying true to oneself. But when Philip's wife discovers his detailed notebooks filled with accounts of his affairs, she questions the authenticity of his work and their relationship. Are these stories just products of his imagination, or do they reveal a deeper truth about his desires and flaws?
