Death of a Cheerleader

In the tranquil town of Colina, California, a high school student named Bridget Moretti will stop at nothing to become popular. She befriends the most popular girl in school, Kelly Locke, and joins her exclusive group, the Bobettes. However, when Bridget fails to secure a spot on the cheerleading squad and yearbook staff, she becomes enraged and vengeful. After a night out, Bridget follows Kelly home and brutally murders her. As the investigation unfolds, the police suspect Nina Miller, a rebellious student who had a confrontation with Kelly, but eventually, Bridget's guilt leads her to confess to her mother and turn herself in.
