Dead Silence

Dead Silence is a horror movie that tells the story of Jamie Ashen, a man who returns to his hometown of Ravens Fair after his wife's murder, which occurred after receiving a mysterious package containing a ventriloquist dummy named Billy. Jamie sets out to uncover the truth behind his wife's death and discovers a dark family secret connected to the legend of Mary Shaw, a ventriloquist who was publicly humiliated and lynched by the townspeople. As Jamie delves deeper into the mystery, he learns that Mary Shaw's ghost is seeking revenge against the Ashen family by killing them in the same way they silenced her - by cutting out their tongues. With the help of detective Jim Lipton, Jamie must confront his family's past and face off against Mary Shaw's vengeful spirit before it's too late. The movie features an atmospheric setting, suspenseful plot twists, and plenty of jump scares that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
