Frequently asked questions

What is Cyrano de Bergerac about? Toggle content

In 1640, Cyrano de Bergerac, a charming poet and swordsman, is smitten with his cousin Roxane. However, his large nose holds him back from expressing his love, as he believes she could never love him because of his appearance. He finds a way to indirectly express his love to her by writing heartfelt letters and poems in the name of Christian, a handsome cadet who is also in love with Roxane. Roxane falls for Christian, unaware that the letters are actually written by Cyrano. The trio becomes entangled in a web of love and misunderstandings, set against the backdrop of the Siege of Arras. Will Cyrano's true love be revealed before it's too late?
