In a small, remote seaside town, a young psychiatrist named Chehnaz is assigned to complete her mandatory duty at a public hospital. While treating her patients, she struggles with her own sexual issues in her marriage and finds solace in her weekend visits to Istanbul. One stormy night, Chehnaz's life takes a drastic turn when she meets Elmas, a young woman who has been married off to a distant relative and is struggling to survive in a hostile environment. As Chehnaz delves deeper into Elmas' story, she begins to question her own marriage and the societal expectations that have been placed upon her.
