Camp Nowhere

In this hilarious comedy, Morris "Mud" Himmel, a 12-year-old boy, is determined to avoid going to a summer computer camp chosen by his parents. He teams up with his friends, and they come up with a plan to create their own summer camp - a place with no parents, no counselors, and no rules. Dennis Van Welker, their former drama teacher, agrees to help them in exchange for $1000 after they threaten to turn him in for his failure to make most payments for his AMC Gremlin. With Dennis' assistance, they trick all the parents into sending them to the camp and rent an old campground that used to be a hippie commune in the '60s and '70s. The kids use the money their parents paid for various camps - computer, fat, military, and acting - to enjoy the ultimate summer of freedom. But when the parents come to visit, the wild group must hide their creation at all costs or risk losing their summer freedom. Will they succeed in keeping their camp a secret, or will their parents uncover the truth?
