Chronicle of an Escape

In 1977, during Argentina's brutal military dictatorship, Claudio Tamburrini (Rodrigo de la Serna), a goalie for a minor league soccer team in Buenos Aires, is abducted by the secret police and taken to Mansión Seré - a clandestine detention center known for its gruesome tortures and brutal interrogations. Accused of being a guerrilla fighter, Tamburrini is subjected to daily torture sessions by his jailers, who demand information he doesn't have. As the days pass, Tamburrini forms a bond with his fellow captives, including Guillermo (Nazareno Casero), a member of a radical group, and together they plot a daring escape. With the ruthless guards closing in on them, the four men make a desperate bid for freedom, diving out a window during a thunderstorm and starting a dangerous journey to evade their captors and find safety. Based on Tamburrini's own account of his experiences, Chronicle of an Escape is a powerful portrayal of resilience in the face of oppression.
