Narrated by Nelson George, a resident of the neighborhood, Brooklyn Boheme pays tribute to this era, dubbed "Brooklyn's equivalent of the Harlem Renaissance." The documentary highlights the emergence of a new type of African American artist, the Brooklyn Boheme, and their contributions to the art world.
