The Wedding Planner

The Wedding Planner tells the story of Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez), a successful San Francisco wedding planner who has given up on finding love due to her demanding career. When Mary meets Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey), a handsome pediatrician, she finds herself falling for him, unaware that he is the groom from one of her upcoming weddings. As they continue to work together on the wedding preparations, Mary and Steve develop a strong connection, but their blossoming relationship is complicated by Steve's engagement to Fran Donolly (Bridgette Wilson-Sampras), a wealthy socialite. The film follows Mary's journey as she tries to balance her career and personal life while struggling with her feelings for Steve. Along the way, she also learns about her father's own arranged marriage and the realization that love can come in unexpected ways. With plenty of comedic moments and romantic tension, The Wedding Planner explores themes of love, destiny, and taking chances in life.
