Saworoide

In the mythical African state of Jogbo, where the power of the king is tied to the rituals of kingship, including the beating of the sacred Saworoide drum, a new ruler, Lapite, seizes the throne through corrupt means. He disregards the warnings of the town's priest, ignores the people's pleas, and allows greed and tyranny to rule his reign. As the people suffer, a group of militants rises up, seeking to reclaim their land and restore justice. Amidst the turmoil, a young man, Aresejabata, discovers his true identity as the son of Lapite's victim, Adebomi, and becomes the last hope for the people of Jogbo. Will the power of Saworoide be enough to bring peace and prosperity back to this troubled land?
