Blade of the Immortal

Blade of the Immortal follows the story of Manji, a skilled samurai who is cursed with immortality after a legendary battle. Haunted by the brutal murder of his sister, Manji knows that only fighting evil will regain his soul. He agrees to help a young girl named Rin avenge her parents, who were killed by a group of master swordsmen led by ruthless warrior Anotsu. As they embark on their mission, Manji and Rin encounter various foes and allies, including Makie, a member of the Ittō-ryū who is torn between her loyalty to the group and her doubts about its cause. The duo faces numerous challenges, including an epic all-out battle at Mt. Takao, where Makie sacrifices herself to protect Kagehisa. In the end, Manji defeats Kagehisa but spares his life, and Rin is offered the chance to deliver the killing blow for vengeance but hesitates. The movie explores themes of immortality, vengeance, and the nature of good and evil.
