...it’s hard to watch the final 30 minutes of the film without screaming at the screen and wondering how the smartest guys in Waterloo, Ontario, could have been so incredibly dumb.

Interesting plot. Great character work. An era wrappef up as a movie. But it-s also a bit too conventionel and as a drama it works - not as a comedy.
