Black Smoke Rising follows the story of Jonah, a blues singer struggling with alcoholism, who is tasked with scattering his recently deceased brother Rafe's ashes. However, Rafe has made it a challenge by creating a treasure hunt with clues that lead Jonah on a journey of self-discovery and reflection.
