In the dark depths of the Atlantic Ocean during World War II, the USS Tiger Shark, an American submarine crew, embarks on what should be a routine rescue mission to save survivors of a British hospital ship attack. But as they bring on board three survivors - a British nurse Claire Paige; the two men aboard, one wounded - bizarre occurrences begin to unravel amidst elaborate silence and tangled fears, deceptions, and mental dismay. The crew begins to experience eerie events after the German prisoner they had on board is killed. Believing that the German had been making noise to betray their position to an approaching German warship destroyer, Lieutenant Brice shoots him dead. As they struggle to control the submarine and uncover the truth, mysterious accidents claim the lives of several crew members. They uncover a sinister plot of conspiracy and cover-up amongst the officers on board, suggesting that the submarine is haunted by a malediction set off by their mistake of sinking a British ship instead of a German submarine tender. The remaining crew faces a desperate fight for survival as they confront the supernatural forces and the weight of their guilt in the confined spaces of Tiger Shark while danger lurks nearby. Will they escape the netherworld between heaven and hell, or will they succumb forever? below.
