Bāhubali: The Beginning

In the ancient kingdom of Mahishmati, a young woman sacrifices herself to save her baby son from certain death, and he is raised by a tribe of devoted warriors. Growing up, Shivudu (Siva) becomes obsessed with scaling the mountain where his mother died, and in the process, he discovers a mask that belongs to a mysterious warrior princess named Avantika. Determined to find her and learn more about his own origins, Siva embarks on a dangerous journey that leads him to the royal palace of Mahishmati. There, he discovers that his real name is Baahubali and that he is the long-lost son of Amarendra Baahubali, an invincible warrior prince who was destined to rule the kingdom. As Siva learns more about his past and confronts his destiny, he must choose between fulfilling his duty as the future king or following his heart and fighting for justice alongside Avantika.
