In the bustling streets of Dakar's coastal suburbs, a young woman named Ada is torn between her arranged marriage to a wealthy man and her true love for a construction worker named Souleiman. But when Souleiman and his colleagues disappear at sea during a migration attempt, of the missing workers and takes possession of other inhabitants' bodies, demanding payment from their tycoon employer and threatening to burn down a futuristic new tower. While most of these spirits seek revenge or rest, Souleiman's spirit longs only to be with Ada once again. Through her encounters with these possessed souls, Ada gains new insight into their stories and comes to understand the power of true love. But as tensions rise and mysterious events unfold, Ada must choose between her duty and her heart, while Souleiman fights to reclaim their love amidst chaos and danger. Is their love strong enough to overcome the odds, or will their world be consumed by the fires of vengeance and despair?
