In the midst of a global catastrophe, Asterrarium follows the story of Anna and Andrey, a retired couple living in a small town. As a comet hurtles towards Earth, they anxiously await the return of their estranged sons, who left nine years ago. Despite the chaos, they dream of a happy family reunion.
