In this gripping drama, Oleg, a talented and dedicated paramedic in his late 20s, is struggling to balance his life-saving work with his personal relationships. His wife Katya, a doctor at the hospital emergency department, has had enough of his obsession with his job and his drinking habits, and asks for a divorce. As Oleg tries to come to terms with this personal crisis, he also faces a new challenge at work: a cold-hearted manager who has introduced strict rules that put efficiency above patient care. Determined to save lives at any cost, Oleg rebels against these rules, but this only gets him into trouble. With emergency calls, alcohol-fueled off-shifts, and an evolving health care system adding to the chaos, Oleg and Katya must find a way to reconcile their differences and keep their relationship alive.
