April Fools

In this hilarious comedy, a socially anxious hospital cleaner named Ayumi Nitta has a one-night stand with a charming but womanizing surgeon named Wataru Makino. When Ayumi discovers she's pregnant, she confronts Wataru, but he assumes it's an April Fools' joke. As fate would have it, the two end up at the same Italian restaurant on the same night, leading to a series of chaotic and unexpected events. Meanwhile, other characters' stories intertwine in surprising ways, including a student who thinks he's an alien, an old lady suspected of being a con artist, a middle-aged couple pretending to be Japanese royalties, a "kidnapped" school student and her family, and two friends - one of whom is gay. Will all these characters find their way in this crazy world, or will they get lost in the mayhem of April Fools' Day?
