La història es desenvolupa en la Inglaterra Victoriana. Espiritus, sorolls estranys, tot bastant ben explicat en un entrellaçat entretingut sense arribar mai a ser particularment interessant. Està bé per passar una estona sense massa pretensions.

What is An American Haunting about? Toggle content

In 1818, the Bell family, a respected and wealthy family in Tennessee, began to experience strange and terrifying events in their home. The spirit that haunted them was relentless and violent, targeting John Bell and his daughter Betsy. As the spirit's aggression grew, the family searched for a way to stop it, but it seemed to be immune to their efforts. The spirit even spoke to them, refusing to say why it was there. Eventually, it pronounced a death sentence on John Bell, and soon after, he died. The spirit left the family in peace, but the horrific truth about its nature and origin would not be revealed until years later. Based on a true story, An American Haunting is a chilling account of a family's struggle against an unseen force that will stop at nothing to claim its victim.
