In the picturesque but struggling town of Pietramezzana, the residents are determined to reverse their fortunes by attracting a new factory to the area. Led by the charismatic Dominic, they embark on a mission to find a doctor to secure the factory deal, and their search leads them to the unexpected candidate, Gianluca Terragni, a successful but unconventional plastic surgeon from Milan. As they try to convince him to stay, the townspeople go all out to win him over with their unique brand of hospitality, including an impromptu cricket team and the charms of the beautiful Anna. Will their efforts be enough to make Gianluca stay and save the town?
