America Town

In the 1980s, a young man named Sangguk living in a US military camp town in South Korea discovers his passion for photography and becomes infatuated with a prostitute named Young-Lim. As he secretly takes photos of her, he witnesses the harsh realities of her life and the struggles of the sex workers in the town. When Sangguk saves Young-Lim from a violent soldier, he finds himself caught up in a dangerous game of love and historical turmoil. Set against the backdrop of the Korean War and its aftermath, America Town explores themes of desire, danger, and the complexities of human relationships.
