Almost Heroes

In 1804, two hapless explorers, Leslie Edwards and Bartholomew Hunt, lead an ill-fated expedition through the Pacific Northwest in a hopeless effort to reach the Pacific Ocean before Lewis and Clark. Despite their ineptitude, they encounter various mishaps and ordeals, including quirky indigenous tribes, vicious animals, and romantic snafus. Along the way, Edwards learns camaraderie and honor while Hunt finds true friendship and self-confidence. After finally reaching the Pacific coast, they decide to continue their adventure and explore the great uncharted world.
